Iliada Kothra was born in her beloved city of Athens, in AprTBG Iliada Kothra Living Postcardsil ages ago. She studied marketing, sales management,   advertisement, public relations, photography and acting. She worked in several companies in the sales and marketing departments, and now along with her team they created the platform www.living-postcards.com, a site that tries to promote abroad all the good things Greece has to offer in the middle of crisis. She works a lot, she creates a lot. She doesn’ t sleep a lot, she only writes and travels, trying to find hidden treasures of this land like food products, people with a special story and artists.

TBG: What is your blog about?
IK: www.living-postcards.com is a global platform that had a certain goal from the beginning. To show abroad all the ”good things Greece has to offer in the middle of crisis”. Food products, small hotels, artists, local cosmetics, start ups and many more. So far, we do it with big success.

TBG: Why did you start your blog?
IK: Cause I knew that a lot of talented people had plans, goals and they were trying to give their best in order to make their dreams come true, and I was right. Since now, we have promoted 1600 success stories, and it’s seems they are endless!
TBG: What is one of your most viewed posts you’d like to share with us?
IK: I would choose one from every section, although its a tough choice!
TBG: What was one of the most memorable trips you’ve taken and written about on your  blog — and why?
IK: In Hydra island, because we stayed in a wonderful boutique hotel with people full of positive energy!
TBG: What do you like most about blogging about Greece?
IK: I believe in Greece. And that’s the basic reason.
TBG: Give us one travel tip for those who have not traveled to Greece yet.
IK: Definitely, they should try to leave their ”travel comfort zone”,meaning to visit islands like Leros, and places like Evros.
TBG: Any advice for new bloggers?
IK: Stay passionate, and kind. Kindness is a virtue we all need desperately. Don’t have this ”blogging ego attitude”, something I often see, and makes me very angry. Smile, use your fantasy, and WORK.
TBG:One place in Greece AND in the world you’d love to visit in the future that you have not been to yet.
IK: Kastelorizo and Astypalaia. Two islands with great treasures…
TBG: One place in the world AND in Greece you could visit over and over again.
IK: Andros island, and Scotland.
TBG: If you could invite five famous people to your fabulous upcoming dinner party — who would make your list?
IK: Well…..my fabulous upcoming dinner party…..would be a mix and match of living and dead fabulous people…So, I would invite, Steve Jobs, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Leonardo Di Caprio and Meryl Streep.
