Meet Katerina Kanashkova of Limitless Travelling with K
TBG: What is your blog about?
KK: My blog was created as an inspiration for traveling without any limits for any traveler and to share my personal travel experiences and useful tips about traveling in Greece and abroad.
TBG: Why did you start your blog?
KK: Over the years, I explored Greece as a travel agent and as an inquisitive traveler.
I had collected so many fascinating stories, useful tips that I wanted to share my love for this country with other travels. This is how my blog was born, where I share useful information about Greece and other countries based on my personal travel experiences.
You can find my detailed story on my blog in ABOUT ME section.
TBG: What is one of your most viewed posts you’d like to share with us?
KK: I suppose, my last two posts about Makrinitsa – the balcony of Pelion, a fairy-tale village in the mountains and some posts about traditional dishes in various countries, such as Poland, Portugal, and Cyprus which I visited in the last 12 months.
TBG: What was one of the most memorable trips you’ve taken and written about on your blog — and why?
KK: It is very difficult to give you a specific answer as every trip is so memorable and exciting. I really loved my trip to Poland, it was the first time I traveled as a couple and this country impressed me a lot!
Another memorable trip was when I visited Mani, Limeni in Greece. I have visited this magical, medieval place many times, and will visit it again for sure.
TBG: What do you like most about blogging about Greece?
KK: Greece is a country that is impossible not to fall in love. There are so many places and islands to visit, which is not enough to see in a whole lifetime. This is a country that constantly inspires me again and again!
TBG: Give us one travel tip for those who have not traveled to Greece yet.
KK: If it will be your first trip to Greece, then start by choosing the best months to visit – May, June and September. My advice is to stay several days in Athens and then visit one or two Greek islands from the main port of Athens. Multi-tours is the best and easiest way to explore Greece.
TBG: Any advice for new bloggers?
KK: Follow your passion and dream, and don’t be afraid of anything. Find your way and find your voice in your own blog. Only you can create your passion into a blog. Once you do that, then you will find followers who will relate to what you have to share and express. Blogging is about your lifestyle and your personal travel experiences to inspire and help new travelers. It is so easy when it is coming from your heart.
TBG: One place in Greece AND in the world you’d love to visit in the future that you have not been to yet.
KK: I cannot wait to visit Hydra island this summer, one of the smallest Saronic Gulf islands in Greece. I have been there once, but only for 50 minutes during a one day cruise and fell in love with this place. Can you imagine, the only type of transportation on the island is donkeys and it’s so peaceful and green with emeralds and clean waters.
Also, my boyfriend and I are planning my first trip to Amsterdam, I am looking to explore this beautiful city by bicycle.
TBG: One place in the world AND in Greece you could visit over and over again.
KK: I love Italy a lot. There so many places to visit and I always admired its architecture and history. I have been there so many times!
That’s why, probably, my favorite places in Greece are Nafplion and Monemvasia in Venetian style, which one I can visit again and again.
TBG: If you could invite five famous people to your fabulous upcoming dinner party — who would make your list?
KK: Very difficult decision, I guess my favorite actress – Margot Robbie, and with the actor – Dwayne Johnson. Some musicians – Adam Levine with Gwen Stefani and, of course, my favorite travel blogger Glo from the Blog Abroad.
What do you think?
