Chris and Maria travel throughout Greece, participating in and writing about outdoor and adventure activities for their website AGreekAdventure.com. Chris has a digital marketing background with much experience in the tourism sector, while Maria has earned a Ph.D. in chemistry. They both love nature, Greece, and traveling around the world as often as possible. They have traveled to over 30 countries and four continents so far. Chris and Maria love to learn about different cultures and share their findings through their writing and photography. They aim to travel all over the world and motivate people to connect more closely with nature and different cultures. Anthomeli is a family lifestyle and travel blog that was established in 2011 and focuses on children and parenting. The blog explores topics related to parties, celebrations, food, D.I.Y., home decorations and more. Travelling is an essential part of Anthomeli and the blog includes destinations for adults and kids – not only in Greece -but all around Europe.

The heart and soul of Anthomeli are Katerina and Callie who are proud of the original content and photos they post on their blog. Their main goal is to inspire families to travel more with their children. Their mum Maria is the travel specialist who blogs about most of the trips and travels with her husband via motor home. In 2012, Anthomeli was voted by the public as the Best Family Lifestyle blog.

 

Athens Coast is a lifestyle guide dedicated to the vibrant and trendy coastal area of Athens, Greece written by and for visitors and locals alike.
Many people arrive in Athens and focus on the historical central area. Our goal is to showcase what delights are waiting for them when they venture away from the city’s urban center to the sunny seaside. With a focus on urban and outdoor adventure, Dave shares his experiences, providing travel inspiration and information about the areas he has visited.  Having cycled from England to South Africa, Alaska to Argentina, and Greece to England, Dave Briggs has covered over 40,000 kms cycling around the world. Now based in Athens, he regularly travels around Greece, introducing his audience to a mix of classically popular destinations and off the beaten path locations.

 

Eikones & Psithyroi (Icons & Whispers) is a rapidly growing travel blog that has quickly established itself as an expert on travel tips, adventures and inspiration. Behind the blog is travel writer Tzina Varotsi. She is a mother of four sons and an accountant by profession. In 2013, she took her first photography courses, and since then photography became the main element of her blog. Through Icons & Whispers, Tzina hopes to share with her readers her experiences as she travels throughout Greece and Europe. She posts about her favorite recommendations for restaurants, magical walks in neighborhoods in and around Athens as well as other types of travel reviews. She joined TBG in May 2016. 

                                                

The Family Experiences Blog is a family and travel blog focused on travel in Greece and activities in Athens. The main audiences are expats living in Greece and foreign tourists. The platform offers personal experiences and encourages other parents to take their kids to off the beaten track and spent quality time together. There is a special focus on Luxury, Culture, Travel Tips. The blog is in English and will be translated in Dutch soon.

The blog was created by Celeste Tat, a Dutch/Italian with a Master Degree in Culture. Celeste worked in Tourism in Crete and in Event Management for scientific cultural institutes and the Athens Olympic Games. Together with her career in the largest multi-national company in Greece, Celeste is an all round professional. Having travelled extensively over the past  20+ years, – more recently with her 2 kids  – Celeste became the expat expert on family travelling in Greece. She aims to promote Greece as an all-year destination for families in all segments. Tat is also the exclusive blogger and Community Manager for Family Goes Out, member of Travel Bloggers Greece.

Family Goes Out is a destination resource for family travel, family activities and tips for traveling with children in the beautiful country of Greece. The unique blog posts are real experiences about hand picked accommodations and activities and offer practical advice for memorable holidays.

Behind the Family Goes Out blog section is Celeste Tat, a family travel blogger and content writer. Tat is a multi-lingual Dutch expat who has been living in Greece for more than 20 years. Tat has a degree in cultural studies and has worked in tourism and marketing and public relations for multinational firms. Marianne Najm, Family Goes Out founder, is a guest blogger writing in French. Najm believes that her daughter’s eyes are the best way to experience Greece because everything is new and exciting to her child!

 

Life Beyond Borders is a travel blog focused on solo, luxury, adventure and gastronomical experiences worldwide, but specifically around Greece and Europe. The voice of Life Beyond Borders is Rough Guide travel author and novelist Rebecca Hall, a transplanted Brit who used to teach English and now divides her time between her beloved adopted country of Greece and the UK. She started publishing her blog in 2010 as an extra outlet to share her travel insights with family. Since then her site has grown in popularity and has been awarded best Expat Blog in Greece – 2012/2013.
Rebecca is a member of Travel Writers UK and the British Guild of Travel Writers, both professional organisations representing influential British travel journalists in the industry and has appeared on the BBC Travel Show (Feb 2017).

Meet Culture has been focusing on the cultural traveling in Greece since 2014, and have written the official travel guides for the main OTA and tourism platforms such as Sina Travel, Qunar.com, Ctrip.com, Bread Trip, Youpu Trip, etc. In the meantime, Meet Culture have enjoyed close cooperation with GNTO, Marketing Greece, Consulate General of Greece in Shanghai, etc. The Music Travel in Greece organized by Meet Culture in 2015 attracted many interests from both China and Greece. The founders of Meet Culture, Kevin and Eley who are the only Chinese travel bloggers in Greece, are publishing their book “Travel in Greece Through Art” in China this summer. Meet Culture is aiming to provide the most authentic traveling experiences for Chinese tourists.

Days of Bliss is a photography journal focused on family and traveling. Not only is Days of Bliss a proud member of Travel Bloggers Greece – the only professional travel network in Greece – it has been selected by Getty Images as a stock image contributor for the high quality of its photography.
Behind the scenes you can find a family of six: Tasos, Marian and their four children. Marian the creator of the blog has a degree in economics, is halfway to getting a second degree in theology and has worked in tourism as well as in education as a teacher of maths and economics.
