Meteora Thrones Shows off the Beauty of Meteora

Meteora Thrones brought TBG members up close to the sky high, monastery topped limestone peaks of central Greece.

Meteora Thrones hosted a weekend blogger trip that combined amazing local gastronomy, fantastic tours of Kalambaka and the historic monasteries, hiking and unique photo opportunities.

Our members were excited to shoot photos and interview the local guides. We also took part in a video, produced by Meteora Thrones.  See it below!

The weekend highlights included hiking the historic paths of beautiful Meteora to discover the lush nature, a special sunset tour and trying local foods that hail from central Greece.

The comfortable and efficient transport was provided by Meteora Thrones.

We appreciated the hospitality at the Famissi Hotel in the center of Kalambaka. It was centrally located near eateries and cafes.  The Famissi family also runs the four-star Eden Hotel in Kalampaka.

We also ate excellent traditional dishes at Restaurant Meteora, Palazzo and the Plakias Taverna Gardenia in Kastraki.
